Bath Time Fun

Bath time is always a treat around here. The Little Man absolutely adores having his bath! Any time he can get into the bathroom, he always heads straight for the tub, stands up next to it, bangs his hands on the side, then turns to me with a big grin as if to say "Yay, mommy! It's bath time!" I just love that kid!

My post-bath baby burrito! Isn't he just yummy?

Disney Princess

We took the kiddies to Disney World for an entire week to celebrate the Princess's 5th birthday this year. We had meals with so many characters that my head was spinning. Most of them were breakfasts. And since she wore her fabulous Disney birthday button everywhere, she got cake and the Happy Birthday song at every meal. Needless to say, it was a rousing success. She met all of the princesses and most of the other major characters, ate tons of junk food, rode everything at least twice and managed to lose her first tooth, which she swallowed. Of course, since earlier in the day she had shown Tinker Bell that the tooth was loose, apparently Tinker Bell talked to the Tooth Fairy, who was able to find us at the hotel and leave a signed autograph and a whole $1.00, even though she didn't get to take the tooth. That Tooth Fairy is pretty cool.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW

Last night and today we have gotten the first snow of the season. And what a doozy! We have 10 inches already (just since 4:30 last night - it is now 8:30 in the morning). And it is still coming down! The forecasters are calling for anywhere between 2 and 6 more inches today. Talk about a white Christmas! DH and the Princess are outside right now - I managed to take a few pictures. The Tigger is napping at the moment, but we'll get more pictures with him later today.....and here they are! (two hours later)

The Hubby and the Princess decided to take the truck out to see how things looked outside of our neighborhood. This is a shot of one of the main roads near us through the windshield.

My super cute family!

Aren't they cute?

The Tigger in his very first snow suit, in his very first snow storm!

Is this a totally redneck picture or what? I almost miss the bright orange hunting gear that seems missing! But they are just adorable!

This is the view from my backdoor onto our deck. The Hubby was kind enough to shovel a path so we could actually walk outside.
My hero!

Is there anything more fun than a slide covered in snow?

The hubby was shaking the snow cover off the tarp roof of the playset. It was like a wonderful snow shower!

Happy Thanksgiving

We decided not to travel for Thanksgiving this year, so it was just the four of us in our own home. We had a very low-key day full of laughter and lots of napping! I am so grateful and thankful for all of the blessings in my life. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Pictures

Practicing sitting up and playing with his play mat.

Little Boy Blue is protecting his modesty during his bath. What's a little boy to do?

The three of us after the bath. The Pink Princess pretty much ALWAYS wears this tiara. Everywhere. Just so that people will know and love her princess-ness.

Happy Halloween!

We had a Tinker Bell and a monkey at our house for Halloween this year. Unfortunately, the monkey proved less than cooperative for pictures, so Tinker Bell is on her own in these shots. However, it is my plan to re-create Halloween at some point this week in order to get those pictures. Hope you all had a great time, too!

Little Chomper

Little Boy Blue just popped a tooth today. I didn't know a 5-month-old could do that. Perhaps this is the reason he couldn't sleep last night (which of course meant I didn't sleep last night, either). He definitely seemed uncomfortable yesterday, but there was no accompanying fever to give us a clue, so I didn't even think to check for a tooth. He's been chewing on stuff and drooling like a little mad man, but that's totally normal and I was expecting him to do that for at least two more months before the advent of actual teeth!
