Book Club
I have been wanting to join a book club for quite a while now...the trouble was that every time I heard of one, it was full and they weren't looking for new members. So I decided to take the initiative and start my own. There are only 5 active members at the moment, and one inactive (she just had a baby so will be busy for the next few months) but I think the small numbers will make for a really good discussion group. The first book we've chosen to read is The Shack by Wm. Paul Young. If anyone has any comments or insights, please feel free to let us know!

I started it but haven't finished it. The subject matter made me too upset...maybe it's just my hormones right now! Anywhoo, I LOVE being in a book club and I hope your's will turn out to be great too. I've been in two for about a year now and there have been so many great books chosen. We just finished The Help in one and are reading Committed in the other.
that one took me awhile to get through, but I liked it in the end. I've loved The Help, Shadow of the Wind, and the Book Thief. Hope you find some you enjoy!
